Ningbo Sheng Grop Co., Ltd was established in 1996, which has the subsidiaries as follows: Ningbo Huchuan Shenglong Machinery Co., Ltd; Ningbo Engineering Technique Center of Automobile Engine Compontents. Besides, Shenglong Group makes the investment to establish two Sino-US Joint Ventures: BorgWarner Shenglong(Ningbo)Co., Ltd; IMI Shenglong(Ningbo) Machinery Co., Ltd.

The products of Shenglong Grop mainly include seven series below: auto components, GHP central air-conditioner, aluminum-alloy casting machines, ship machines, stationery, pneumatic tools. Shenglong has impprted advanced CNC machine centers, precision numerical control machine tools, assembling lines, high precision measuring and testing instruments from abroad. Shenglong always provide products and services which meet or exceed customer expectation. Shenglong passed the audit of quality certification for ISO 9002 in December, 1998 and QS9000 in October, 2000.

Shenglong's customers include both major OEMS and aftermarket suppliers, such as FAW Group, FAW-VW, Shanghai-GM, Valeo, JMC Group, Chongqing Cummins, Beijing Futian, FAW DAEWOO, Dongan Engine Yunbao Engine, Dalian Diesel, Hangzhou Engine, Sichuan dongfeng Engine Ltd. BWSL's customers include: Hyundai and Daewoo Korea, etc.

In july of year 2001, Ningbo Shenglong Group Co., Ltd has signed JV agreement with IMI U.S.A.Inc. to establish the IMI Shenglong(Ningbo) Machinery Co., Ltd. The registered capital is USD12 millions and the total investment will be exceeding USD25 millions, with Shenglong holding majority equity. The JV is mainly engaged in the manfacturing and installation of the most advanced GHP central air-conditioner; the manufacturing and seles of stationery; the manufacuring of small engines, automotive components, aluminum alloy castings, and other machinery products. It located at the spectacular industrial Park of Yinzhou District, covers a land of 120-mu(about 8 hectares) of which 30000 square meter are building area. The JV will be operational in August, 2002 and will become another big modern enterprise under the banner of Shenglong Group then.
